The story is center around a multigenerational family living in Los Angeles. It is told from the perspective of a 16 years old girl who is on a family holiday at her grandmothers home. Marnie has two grandmothers, a mom and dad, and many cousins. Ruth Crawford and the Crawford family were a long line of descendants of the queen of England so they carry around a snobbish attitude. Ruth Crawford was also a long time retired actress who is considered some sort of a legend in Hollywood but her wife Egnes was a woman from humble beginnings and a very kind-hearted woman. Marnie loved her both the grandmas and the love they display for each other even at this old age.Complete

Oli and V
A story about the life of Oli and V, roommates to lovers, some Gay parts (sexual). They live with their children, Millie, Zeke, Blitz, Levi, and Nolan,. And with all of their powers will they end up saving Nolan and Oli from being kidnapped? (Tw- rape, assault, fighting, gore?-kinda) these parts are long and spelling and grammar might be bad because I don't reread it like I should lol. It's kinda boring so read at your own risk, it's also very long for I have been working on it for a long time. :)Complete

The Gifts of Mortality

All immortals keep their backs turned on humanity. Except Samil, the God of Festivals and the Arts. Samil knows he isn't very powerful among his kind. Or important. Or confident. Yet, when he learns that the humans are desperate, he chooses to do a deceptively simple thing: Help them. ___________________________________ @Voyageavecmoi was kind enough to write this review of my book and she described it 100x better than I ever could lol. With her permission, I'm posting it below. Also, check out her book "Flight Risk." It's a sweet and deep romance about two characters negotiating their feelings for each other while life is doing everything to tear them apart. The characters have such mature conversations and, there's no reliance on the miscommunication trope at all. I'm *obsessed.* If you enjoy intriguing fantasy novels with deep and thoughtful themes, check out 'The Gifts of Mortality' by @eleanorkennedy14 . It explores the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans. The story follows Samil, the god of the Festivals and the Arts, who is shocked by the apathy of his fellow gods when a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death. Despite finding no support among his kind, he's determined to help the humans, which sets him down an interesting course. There are lots of great twists in this novel, and I also loved seeing how queerness was worked in throughout both the immortal and mortal realms. Samil is a sweet and refreshing character to root for who is determined to see the good in the world.Complete

This is the second in the series "A Book of Stories." The first book, "Of Stones and Such" paved the way for more offspring in this set. In some of these stories, you may find a few familiar names and places. There is quite a bit of violence and pseudo-sexual content. It's still not what I would classify as Mature, but there are themes that tickle the line, and there are also things that may seem offensive to some. Ah well ... Life is what it is. There's goodie-goodie stuff too ... just like in real life. Sometimes there is good in the bad, and bad in the good.Complete
