Tauriel is the captain of the guard and at the end of the Hobbit, Legolas leaves and you don't see Tauriel in the Lord of the rings. This is after the Lord of the rings franchise. Prince of Mirkwood, Legolas is assigned to a quest with Aragorn and Gimli, and along the way has to go back to his old home. He meets up with Tauriel and his feelings for her arise again. But will Tauriel return his affection or turn him down like she did in the Hobbit?
