2nd Chance At Love!
Carina and Maya's dream is to become parents. The two struggle to conceive, Carina starts to believe that she's the reason they can't have children. It takes a toll on her, she misses a few days of work, Maya tries her best to be there for her wife while still being able to get her work done. On one call Maya saves the lives of a couple of kids at a foster home fire, she becomes quite close with one of those foster kids. Maya tells Carina all about the girl, wanting to really become parents to someone special they take the girl in. Then the unthinkable happens when Carina takes a pregnancy test a few months later and they are more than happy, a beautiful daughter and a baby on the way.

Time has passed and more males than females are born. The community elders come together starting a new system to solve the problem (their lasts hope). One female to three males per home as them move to start their relationship fitted by choice of the elders. What happens if things don't turn out as hoped? The Galanis family has a history of having high numbers as they have arranged marriages (with other high-status members) for their offspring over the last century. Nikolas is soon to accept his fate, as soon as he turns 20, if he hasn't found his own bride (who has a high societal number of course), his family will have to find him one themselves. Claudine Ariti is a 13, she has to help her father raise her 5 siblings after her mother, unfortunately, passed a few years before, due to not being able to afford proper healthcare, she dreams of being a singer, as singing was one of the only memories she had left with her mother.
