Rainbows mom is obsessed with patterns after all she is a seamstress. The month Rainbow was born was the month of rainbows for Faith, her mother. August was rainbow month for Faith and she was so in love with the pattern that she just had to name her newborn daughter after it.
Rainbow was beautiful. She had dark skin and a huge afro that she most definitely got from her mama. When she was young she lived up to her name but a few clouds appeared in her sky and over casted the Rainbow and made her into a stormy sky.
Rainbow is now 17 and in her senior year. She has severe anxiety and social anxiety. School doesnt help at all with this.
Life at home is good but could be better since her parents are living pay check to pay check.
Soul a quiet kid but not so quiet kid at his high school who would rather skip and pose with a gun for social media. He wants to be a gangster but only has touched the hammer once. That one time he did makes him scared of what he is cabable of. His anger issues are at there peak. He could break any second.
Soul does break everyday though but not around others because he has a rep to maintain. After school is through and he goes home only to see his dad reading the newspaper and ignoring him he goes to his room and cries. He cries because be knows he's the reason why his mom is gone. He's the reason why his father hates him and cant look into his eyes.
His soul is slowly fading but slowly but surely it gets pieced back together when he meets a short lil girl named Rainbow.
