Meet Axel Aletris Ketchum, an 11 y/o kid who aspires to become a Pokemon Professor. However, when trouble stirs in the Kalos region, Axel is appointed to solve the mystery- leading him to become a trainer instead, much to his reluctance.

On the way, he befriends new Pokemon, meets new friends, and has new adventures. 

Then, the mission: collect information (easy peasy) , keep a USB (no problem!) , and... enter the Pokemon League?!

Despite his knowledge on the species, Axel soon finds himself struggling to learn the basics of being a trainer. And worst yet, strange events start happening around him one after another... getting him caught into a chain of events that might eventually destroy the entire Kalos region.
