He'd backed her against the sides of the ring, she was trapped and they both knew it. Sweat glinted off his chest, his hair was coated with it and his cheeks were rosy from the heat. His eyes narrowed as he stared at this women who wouldn't stop trying to defy him. 

She felt her pulse quicken and she sucked in a breath, she was not afraid of him. Arrogance would kill her one day and Rey was finally beginning to believe it. 

"You're nothing." He growled, nearing his face inches from hers. 

Rey swallowed, her throat was bone dry as those cruel words left his lips. 

Then Ben's dark and intense eyes met her's, "but not to me."

Go the Distance: a term in boxing, meaning to fight to the final bell or the duration of an entire fight...

Ben Solo. Grew up in a seemingly privileged household. Growing up with his parents active and respected in the military made his life appear perfect, from the outside looking in. But that couldn't be further from the truth. Ben has been neglected his whole life and at twenty-two, he has followed in the footsteps of his uncle and is the defending world champion boxer for two years. But although he seems to have it all, he is cold and distant from everyone. Until he meets her...

Rey. Grew up a scavenger on the streets since she was five. Scrappy and witty she doesn't take any crap from anyone nor does she allow herself to get close with anyone either. The only people she is remotely close with are her friends Finn and Poe. Rey finds herself in recurring street fights, and she loves the fight. What she doesn't know is how lonely she really is and that all changes when she meets him...

She is frustrated and desperate, and about to give up hope until she finds out about a place existing within the Force, a place existing between time and space: the world between worlds. Then there's Resistance pilot Poe Dameron. Rey hardly knows him and yet now she's strongly captivated by him, drawn to him by an aura that feels so positive and so warm and welcome. But he has a hatred for Ben Solo that is unexplained, and Rey fears that her friendship with Poe will prevent her from bringing Ben home. Who will Rey choose?
