Melody Riddle's life has the foresight of becoming far more hectic than she'd ever expected.
After Professor Trelawney's prediction from the previous year that she would begin having visions comes true, things are more confusing than ever. And, as of the events of the Quidditch World Cup, Melody is tasked with working alongside Barty Crouch Jr. (disguised as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Mad-Eye Moody) throughout the school year in the process of brewing her father's resurrection potion. Oh, that's right, and also while sending Harry Potter through the trials and tribulations of the Triwizard Tournament.
As all these events cross over each other, she edges ever nearer to the possibility of getting caught in the act. She wonders if she can make it through another school year without her subsequent actions drawing suspicion, and whether the Dark Magic that Crouch is teaching her will start to consume her. And did she mention taking her O.W.L.s a year early? Not to forget her boyfriend, Marcus Flint, acting suspicious while demanding to be let in on the actions she's taking at her father's behest.
