If you haven't read The Blood of Olympus then don't read this! That being said, this is just another Willco/Solangelo love story. The Heart of Suffering (A Heroes of Olympus Story with Solangelo)
The First Story In The Trilogy! SYNOPSIS: The young heroes have succeeded in their quest against Gaea, developed peace between the camps, and started to look towards the future. Oh no, don't get excited; they're not out of the woods yet. Nico has a secret and it's about to be revealed. EXTRA: Solangelo (main ship), Percabeth (main s.), Jasper (supporting s.), Frazel (supporting s.), and Caleo (minor s.). Not always written from the same POV: see chapter titles for evidence. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Clearly this wasn't the best summary ever. How about you give the first few chapters a shot, and see if you're interested that way? Be prepared for slow development at the start, but the narrative speeds up later on - skip ahead or consider chapters as one-shots, if that's what you prefer. :) WARNINGS: There will be angst, self-harm, nightmares, panic attacks and depression. Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. He's determined to help anyone he can who needs it. This includes the dense (yet admittedly cute) son of Hades, who might even be more stubborn than Will. After a nail-biting battle against the Earth Mother herself, these boys find themselves in the infirmary together for a promised three days. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate?
