Christian Anderdale is a reluctant prince. He doesn't feel worthy of being the heir to his parents throne and would much rather spend his days dicking about with his cousins when they visit. On his eighteenth birthday, he sneaks away from the castle to hang out in the old abandoned church outside town.

What is intended as a night of fun turns into anything but when Christian finds himself at the centre of a centuries' old prophecy, and he's forced to not only leave behind childhood but humanity as well.

He's as well suited to the life of a vampyre as he is to the life of a royal, but he's going to have to work out how to navigate his new life when he finds himself responsible for unleashing utmost darkness onto the whole world.

*This is legit the first novel I ever finished. It was about 2004/6 or something and I've been too scared to really look at it since. Needless to say it needs some serious feedback and editing, and I have come a heck of a long way with my writing since. This series is likely my Lord of the Rings - it's my sweeping epic fantasy covering all the generations.*All Rights Reserved

Even in a world of perfect beings such as elves, lies can be spun as precisely as an arrow can pierce a target, and evil can sneak up on you when you least expect it. Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.

The officiant started, greeting the room full of all my family, all of David's family. Going through the first reading easily. Moving along, the officiant announced in a loud voice, "If anyone here knows of any reason why these two should not be lawfully wed, let them speak now, or forever hold their peace." The officiant boomed over the crowd. I was caught off guard. This part was supposed to be just a formality, just a box to tick. No one was supposed to say anything. The world started to go in slow motion as Verity moved behind me a flicker in the corner of my vision. "David, I can't hide anymore." He said. As David's eyes went from me, to Verity, filled with concern. David looked over my head at Verity while he was holding my hands in his. I heard the crowd gasp, before everyone started to whisper. David dropped my hands. The whispers increased in intensity. Making the room sound like it was full of hissing snakes. David's attention wasn't anywhere near me. I looked up to see him looking over my head at my brother. With a look I had thought he had saved just for me, my heart breaking as my fairy tale became a nightmare. Part 2 also complete July 2023.

My face bounces of the wall, the sting of his slap left behind on my cheek. I shake the pain away, placing a facade up to hide the fear within. You fucking bastard! I narrow my eyes at him, taking note of his features in case I miraculously survive this encounter. His hair is a dark auburn and his eyes that watch me with amusement are a dark blue. His attire was a black suit which seemed out of place considering he was standing in an alleyway. If I manage to escape I want to be confident that'd I'd be able to have this bastard put behind bars. Again if... His eyes shift, my eyes widening as his eyes turn from a dark blue to a pool of black, red veins trailing along from his pupil to the edge of his eyes. His voice is dark as he commands, "Show me that pretty little neck of yours." ೋღ🌹ღೋ ⚠️ Warning!!! This book is extremely dark and has depictions of Mature language, violence, sexual activity, sexual and physical abuse, including rape. Rape is a serious crime often overlooked where the victim is made to believe it is their fault. I do not condone rape however, it's a reality. Please only read if your 18+ and with caution.
