Callie Evans has grown up in the world that had been built up after the World Organization had torn it down by releasing "Project Z" a zombie like virus with an expiration date. The World Organization releases the virus when the population gets too high in order to prevent overpopulation. Callie's father raised her and her brother Zack to be trained incase the virus ever got released again. They have skills in order to protect themselves. The first victim of the virus is someone close to Callie. Callie and Zack on their own race to make it to the safe house before they can contract the virus. Her father had been putting together for years in anticipation that one day the virus would return again. All while the World Organization sits back in their protective castle watching the world fall and burn.
