I did not think that growing would be hard or that I would have to put much thought into it my mammy always told me to never look for trouble or to well be a bad lassie. I never really thought at all into all here warnings, never really thinking I would need to...boy was I wrong that i had never wished I had listened to my mammy back maybe then I would never have been in that mess in the first place but now that I think about it, I would never have met such amazing people an gained the family I have now.
Growing up as a young Scottish girl I always heard stories and songs about places and people, so I guess that is where it all started for me, I loved stories but my favourite to listen to was stories about the fae, faeries, goblins, trolls, hags. My grandmother used to tell that they were real and that I should always be careful telling me ways to be safe around them like never invite a fae into the house or that spirits of our ancestors could never harm us, but the living could.
I loved the Celtic stories I thought that they were so cool but my Mammy always they were not real, that I needed to grow up being the oldest of my sibling. But I so did want them to be real but as the years went by, I realised that my Mammy was right. I did have to grow up at some point and live my life, I had it all planned out, finish the academy, go to college, find a boyfriend, travel the world, then settle down with a good paying job in the small town I called my home... But in the end I don't think I will ever change the way my story began...
