When Alice-Jean 'AJ' Lindsay was 15 years old her twin sister was in trouble, the only person she could turn to was Hank Voight, a man who took the Lindsey twins in and saved them from the same fate as their mother. 

After med school and a lose that really took it's toll on her, Alice took off to England for a job and now, 10 years later she's back in Chicago, a job at Chicago Med and a whole lot of bad memories she intends to leave behind.
