Love is a Curse

Centuries ago, two young men trained under the ninja master, Soto Shikoku. The two young men were known as Niko Honshu and Kai Kitsune. They did every mission as a team, until one day, when Niko was given the Kihaku Katana. Kai became jealous and they split apart. Doing everything on their own. Eventually, Niko and Kai started their own clans, called the Honshu Clan and the Kitsune Clan. They have been enemies for four generations, since the fight over the sword between the two men began.
Years later, the clans have ended the war, for there was no winner. The clans moved to new locations that no one knows about, and they have never battled since. New men and women were brought into the clans and they have been reborn. The power of the great leaders were passed down to the new leaders of the clans and to their children as well. As new generations are born, more power is transferred. So our people train to improve our skills and our strength. We'll will defeat the Kitsune Clan, someday.
Today, you have my father, my mother, my brother Kahn, and Mikaela, which is me. My brother and I are last born decedents of the great Niko Honshu himself, and according to my parents, Niko Honshu is our great grandfather. Respecting the fact that a great master is in my blood, I always honored him. He told me all of his war stories and showed me everything I know. I'm grateful to know that my family is safe as long as we have Niko Honshu to protect us. I will always respect his ways and honor his noble deeds. In a way, he is more like a hero from a great legend than an ordinary man. He is a true legacy, and he should always have anyone's respect.
