The hunt for vampires. Then the Ark. 

The sirus that hold that ark has lured every living person searching for it into a web of chaos. Even worse his new protector has his own issues to deal with. They find harmony for a short while but what would you expect a sirus to do. Being followed by a guy who won't tell him anything about his past and fights in battle like a blood obsessed demon. 

The two will face a trial while the ones trying to find them face the ancient trials of a long since forgotten city of sacrificial  power. 

The only problem.. something between them changes.. the sirus finds out the dark past of this man he runs with and part of it scares him.
