This is a Fantasy/Adventure story inspired by stories like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and the Final Fantasy games made by Square Enix.
In the country of Farina, there is civil unrest among the people and the guards who are supposed to be protecting them have now turned to some unsavory tactics on how to resolve the issues within the Capital. Our story starts off with Captain Winters, a warrior trying to maintain justice while his commanding officer General Miter has turned to bullying the people and now is about to start a public execution. Can the Captain stop him or will someone else intervene?
... And as the Captain watches from the front line, a cloaked figure races across the city's rooftops carrying a glowing device on her arm.
Can they stop the General in time? And if they do, what will done to fix the country and find out what happened to the King?
This is a story I created, any similarities to other stories or characters are unintended. I hope you enjoy this short story/one shot. If you readers out there enjoy it, I can expand the story:)

The dragon and phoenix fate twins
Two twin sisters drifted apart because of misunderstandings and screaming by there on family no less. Zan Cui the one with a dragon fate was seen as bad luck because she is a girl. So she was openly despised and raised to be a tool for her elder brother. Knowing this and also seeing her sister being loved and pampered by her family. She always felt bitter, but she never hated her sister for it. But when her sister moved into the royal palace and later married she never contacted her again. She felt betrayed and was very angry with her. But what she did not know was that her sister made a deal with the second prince that she would move into the palace to live with him and marry him when she came of age he would then send her sister an awakening pill. But what her sister did not know then was that the awakening pill would never reach her sister and that her husband would never allow her to see her sister again. Until one day when her husband used her sister and uncle as scapegoats. Seeing her beloved uncle being killed and her sister being next. She ran over and blocked the blow for her sister. Seeing this Zan Cui picked her up and ran away with her into the forest behind the royal palace. But they were never able to escape, so Zan Cui, picked up a treasure that she found. That would grant 1 wish for a price, she used it hoping that it would send them back before everything started.

Once upon a time in a wonderous land called 'Elsinore', the few citizens left have just survived an massive attack by an evil necromancer that has been haunting them for decades. This assault was so destructive that the radiation has spread to a virus that destroys most living things. A small percentage were immune but only high powerful equals (and orcs) that knew some sort of extreme magic made it. Most are unaware that this event has happened even though it wiped out 98% of the world's population. The main character, Crow gets extremely lucky with power and turns into an crazy nutcase. This is his back up story and reasons why he turned out that way. This is a prequel to another story that will be out shortly after this one is completed. Keep in mind that I wrote some parts two years ago so this may be out of order. Also you can skip the first part, it is just character descriptions. Isn't it said that you should give away what you don't use? After losing my life, I became the Villainess in a novel I didn't even finish. That was alright; I had asked for this second chance, after all. Even if I didn't think my desperate pleas were going to be answered like this, I would not waste this chance. Living with my family was comfortable, but my ambitions were big. Still, the first thing to do was to evade the death flags. For that, I have to evade the Crown Prince at all costs. As a commoner, if he sees me and takes me as a concubine like in the original, it will be very troublesome. But what is this!? Didn't my parents tell you I was sick? Go away and enjoy the festival, and leave me alone! We don't know each other! If he is so insistent on taking me with him, then there is no other choice: I will run away from home! Mother, father, Lanto...I'm sorry. I hope your heads don't roll because of this. I sincerely enjoyed our time together. I learnt a lot from my father. Maybe becoming a wandering witch is not so bad... ... Isn't this how reincarnation stories usually go? With an obsessed male lead who suddenly shows interest in the reincarnated protagonist? But I'm completely honest when I say I will never marry or fall in love with this dude. And no, it's not just the usual 'protagonist who will later be proved wrong' talk.
