As a ghost, he was not injected with the lust substance, and as a result, he is completely different from everyone else in the Underground. He feels out of place as an anxious bookworm who has little interest in sex and is losing hope because his quiz show is unsuccessful. But Mettaton might not be as alone as he thinks. A certain skeleton loves Mettaton's show and wonders if anyone in the Underground shares his rare capacity to prioritize love over sex.
