It was two long years after the events of the second Darkest Day and the Dynamaxing Event.
Marnie and Piers got into a fight one day and to cool off the new Dark Type Gym Leader went outside. Unfortunately it started to rain heavily. Bede comes along and helps Marnie. Soon enough they start to become fast friends, maybe a bit more.
