On a large Island in the middle of the ocean, slaves bustle about to get their jobs done or get punished. Soldiers patrol and keep an eye on them and get their own work done, loading and unloading shipments and such to and from all over the world. The Island is controlled by a menacing and mean looking man who had disposed of and gone through many slaves, some personal and some not. What will happen when a fiery red head turns up in a shipping crate and defies him? What if she had information he didn't know he wanted? Also: Constantly editing. Some chapters may seem more well written than others and some may not. I am always editing and hope that this story can make it big. I am writing it in honor of a friend who has passed. We worked on this story as a roleplay in the beginning of our friendship. AN: Any pictures used are not mine and purely how I see the characters looking. Warning: Story may contain graphic details and contain tough subjects.

Prices of everyday necessities, from food to gas, from toilet paper to healthcare, have more than doubled. The global population now peaking near 8.5 billion. It was now considered a virtue to be hospitalized, so long as you could pay the lifelong medication payments and stay sick. Just as it seemed society was ready to kick the bucket, something viral and deadly beat it to the punch. As the people he knew turned into sick, plagued creatures of death and his world crumbles down around him, Jacob Mason must leave his life as a quiet, middle school student behind and forge ahead a new life to protect the people he loves. But this is all just the beginning of a brand new, blood splattered life for him.
