Meet Maxine Evers: your typical seventeen year old highschooler living in typical old Desert Town and doing typical teenage things (eating, sleeping, reading etc.). She hates her name (which is completely understandable) and isn't interested in anything outside of the world of books (except Dylan O'Brien). Her life seems to be heading in a typical, boring direction until one shove sends her hurtling down love's corridor (quite literally) into a wonderful mystical world of feelings, cheesy one-liners and tears. Oh, the tears. Turn the pages with her as she soon discovers that love is not in fact an open door, but an open...book?
