This is a retelling of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale Rapunzel. I wrote this story in 1995, right after college, and I'll admit it's kind of silly. Just like in Disney's excellent film "Tangled," I took the name Gothel directly from the original tale because it sounded too chilling not to use. I hope you enjoy it!

When Will My Life Begin
This is a very old tale of The Brother's Grimm, almost 200 years old, or possibly more. This tale is about a young girl who was born with very, very long hair, who was kidnapped at birth by a wicked, old hag. There are many versions of this tale, such as the King stealing lettuce from the hag's garden, and as a punishment the hag took his newborn daughter. Some involve the hag stealing the baby because of it's beauty and youth. Though many versions of this tale has been told over the years, the plot remains the same. It was about a young girl with long hair who was kidnapped at a young age by an old hag, and then confined in a tower with only one window. This version of the tale involves the hag's past. This is the tale of love, loss, and grief. And of course, a little bit of magic.Lengkap
Varian and the Seven Kingdoms (Varian's Seven Trials)
This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!! Hiccup and Rapunzel have hard lives. Hiccup is abused by his father, lost his mother at a young age, has a medical problem and he also bullied and has no friends sadly. Rapunzel is adopted and doesn't even no it, she is barely aloud outside when she gets home from school, and she has magical hair that she has to keep hidden from everyone except her adoptive mother. One day, they both decide to run away from home and when they do they bump into each other. Many dangers are ahead of them. They discover secrets they never knew before. What would have happened if Rapunzel had not left the tower following the events of the beloved Disney movie?
