A 22 year old man by the name of Carter Jones is having a rough moment in his life. His parents died, his girlfriend leaves him for another man, he's fired from his job, and can't pay off any of his bills. Carter has tried to find jobs, but a particular one catches his eye. $120 a week, just watching over some entertainment robots. What a steal! But after one night, Carter's opinion of the night shift changes, as the animatronics come to life at night and are hostile towards him. And with each passing night, Carter starts to slowly lose his sanity. However, as the nights pass, a certain someone starts to see Carter differently from the others. And with a certainty of death if Carter is caught, this someone must find a way to warn Carter before she's too late.
