"Only if you don't confess to whoever this one-sided affection is for or get surgery for it, although surgery is said to remove said affections."
"If it's one-sided already from the description, why would I do something as stupid as confess?"
"There are rare cases where the feelings grow mutual and the buds disappear." He nodded, gray eyes a bit emptier than before.

"Stanley, if you walk off that ledge one more time, if you kill yourself again, I will not take part in this anymore." There was a huff. "I tried to stop you but you somehow found a way around it. I refuse to try anymore." What did that mean? "Wouldn't take part"? Stanley was curious, he had to admit. And instead of asking, instead of communicating, he casted a glance at the ceiling and threw himself off the ledge for the forty-sixth time. There was a sickening thud and a large, shooting pain throughout his body before the world began to fade. "... Fine. Have it your way." At first, Newt thought it was nothing-a cold maybe-but now, as he watches Thomas clutch his chest in pain, he realizes the truth: Hanahaki disease. The flowers that bloom in Thomas' lungs are a cruel manifestation of unspoken love, and the more Thomas tries to hide it, the more they bloom, suffocating him slowly. "I thought about yesterday, how his smile flustered me, the way his emerald green eyes matched the grin. The image flashed in my mind causing my stomach to flutter and my chest tighten up. It honestly made sense. But I'd only known him for a few days. But honestly... I liked him. I really did. It made fucking sense. All of a sudden, I felt a scratching in my throat and a cough coming up. I let it out. But the tickling in the back of my throat didn't go away. I covered my mouth with my hand, hacking away. Then, I smelled something sweet. It smelled like flowers, roses to be exact. It was really odd but I shrugged it off, closing my eyes, coughing. Then, I coughed one last time and felt something come out of my mouth. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and opened my eyes. The sight in front of me practically made them bulge right of my head. this story takes place 1 year after Sunny told the truth to everyone at the hospital. still unable to forgive himself for Mari's death, Sunny and his friends are still together, and "happy". Sunny started dating with Kel some weeks after he got out of the hospital. everyone hangs out almost every time, sharing amazing new memories together each days. Sunny also seems so happy to be with his friends once again, but on the other side... Sunny is unable to forgive himself. he's unable to accept Mari's death, and his depression grows worse, his thoughts getting darker and darker, his health free falling, but hides all of this by his normal quiet attitude each day. he wants to enjoy his moments with Kel and his friends, and he doesn't want any of them to know what's going on with him. how long will Sunny be able to keep the act, how long will he last before breaking down completely ?
