Deep in the wood, four Clans reside; CobraClan and BoaClan, allied under the Cobra-Boa Alliance; ViperClan, cruel and ruthless, surrounded by enemies on all sides; and PythonClan, a neutral, peaceful Clan.
But all is not safe in their little corner; tensions are high, territories are tight, and warriors are always on the brink of battle.
Then Riverkit is born.
She's sincere, tactical and thoughtful, relying wholly upon the Warrior Code and displaying full loyalty to her Clan and the Alliance. It never changes, even as she grows to be a strong, clever, and indispensable member of CobraClan.
But something changes inside when Flintstar, the cruel leader of ViperClan, is taken down. Something sinister arises. Warriors go missing. Allegiances are questioned, loyalties become fragile, and bonds are broken...

Flickerbird knows DuskClan won't stop. They won't stop defending their territory, they won't stop hunting in the forest to make room for rouges, and most importantly, DuskClan won't stop fighting to the death to defend their Clan, their friends, their family, their home.
