It is centuries in the future the dragonets are but mere whispers of a long forgotten past, a past of freedom and life. But now there is only death Queen wasp has taken over the Continents and rules with an iron claw. Like queen Scarlet before, she has taken up the practice of sending her prisoners to fight to the death in the Arena only a few have ever left its walls...

this is a collection of one shots with no real connection with each other except for the fact that its all fighting in the Arena this is a mature story so don't read if you are sensitive to death and swearing

Wings of Fire: Lemming's Story by Echoes_of_Polaris
11 parts Complete
NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me. The cover of the book was drawn and colored by Jennifer Ellzey, and title arrangements were designed by me. Happy Reading :)

Decades of wars and unrest have clawed at the sides of Pyrrhia's dragons for as long as they can remember, and the tales of true peace and dragonets of prophecy are simply whispers of the past. Shrike has never been regarded by his tribe as a real SkyWing. His mother fell ill and passed away when he was a dragonet, and his father, a royal SeaWing, was executed by his dictatorial queen as soon as it was found out that he'd had an affair with a common SkyWing. Still, Shrike remains tethered to the Queen and his tribe. Years of lost wars, unfulfilled treaties, and an excessively lavish lifestyle lived by their ruler, Queen Markhor, have left the SkyWing tribe impoverished and starving, and Shrike, the princess's personal bodyguard, has witnessed the consequences of the Queen's ignorance firsthand. A diplomacy meeting with the SeaWings gone wrong erupts in yet another bloody war, and Shrike is swept up in battle before finding himself caught in between the jaws of the political turmoil that seem to be tearing his tribe apart from the inside out. To make matters worse, a warning delivered years before by the continentally renowned prophet, Hereafter, is unraveling before Shrike's eyes, and its exhortations seem like an echo chamber awfully reminiscent of his own life. That coupled with a newfound power in his claws leaves him spiraling and wondering one question: could 𝘩𝘦 be the terror of talons? ✦ Please read the introductory pages! They will be EXTREMELY informative for understanding the basics of Pyrrhia's situation and the timeline leading up to this story. Consider leaving a vote if you enjoy this story! Constructive criticism and other comments are always welcome.

"You sought dominance and killed anything for a piece of it. You and your so-called city of future, ripped from the scales not yours." Years after the Tree Wars, set in the elegant and covetous city of Fyrerost and the crumbling Hymeno, a city buried beneath the wealth. When escalating unrest ruptures between the two cities and brawls break out between sides, Nomada must make a choice that will alter the outcome of Pantala forever. _____________________________________________ The hope from within... Before the construction of the hives, two cities stood amid the growing continent. Wealth and prosperity grew above Fyrerost, leaving only dust and scraps for the underdeveloped Hymeno, and conflicts ensued at every corner of the cities. Secluded beneath the thriving city, a new powder called "augments" provides Undergrounders with unfathomable power, but at a cost. Tensions boil with the creation of the "mesmer", a way for Queen Wasp to infuse her mind into any HiveWings. Bloodsheds between the two cities inflict permanent ruin, and Nomada finds himself in the middle of a war between rogue convicts and deadly poisons. _____________________________________________ Based on Wings of Fire by Tui T.
