As the time ticks on in Lucy's last year of highschool, the struggles of pressure and expectations grow on the shoulders on each of the students. Lucy herself struggles with a more pressing matter. One that is very much wrong and she knows it, but it doesn't stop herself from letting it grow. One of the more dolice questions is her science teachers fascination with clocks. -------------------- "Why do you have two old schools clocks , sir?" I ask him as I eat my lunch. He's leaning against his desk as he always does. He's putting his watch on. "I like being punctual. And I like how they look. I like how they work." Mr. Stone told me, giving me one of his usual dashing smiles. "Why do you think I like clocks?" "I have no idea, sir." I tell him honestly. But it got be thinking, why did he like clocks so much? Was there another reason? I sigh a tad and continue to eat as he approaches my desk. placing his palms on the corners. My heart races slightly. I look up at him as he smiles down at me. "Do you like clocks?"

I got up out my seat and started walking to my room; I was getting tired of this. "What's the difference in someone else?" I argued back. Before I could blink, he punched me square in the jaw. I felt the pain first, then the metallic taste of blood. "Don't you ever talk back to me, Charles." And with that, he left the living room, leaving me there to tend to my own injuries. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Charles McGrow is madly in love with the cliché school jock, Derek Matterwood and is forbidden to.
