    This is a story about a mermaid who falls in love with a vampire. Stefan didn't fall in love with Elena but they did become friends. The problem is, Elena is in love with Stefan and she'll do anything to be with him; and that includes getting Ariel killed, what ever it takes to win the heart of the younger Salvatore.
