This is a story about a 18 year old girl named Marissa is working her normal shift at the cofee shop and ends up meeting the love of her life who helps her find and overcome her past.

---------------------------- Alex never thought she could love anybody. Her family left her to foster care, and she hasn't been able to ever make any real friends. She plans to live a simple boring life, possibly until death comes for her, but is that what she really wants. No, perhaps she just needs someone... someone she never realized was just around the corner from her life. Shirley has had a great life up until now, at least she likes to think so. She does prefer looking at things through a more positive lens, so things like her debilitating health conditions seem to slip her by. Eating less food could only be a good thing right? This will be a moderate length mini story for the two couples, exploring their journeys which happen at completely separate times. These are the untold stories of our side characters from my other book's shared universe, but reading those two books are not exactly necessary to enjoy this one. Her parents are always working and almost never at home. Their always on 'business trips'. She has a sister named Jade and she's the closest thing she has to a friend. She is lesbian and has a massive crush on the schools 'badass'... Rae. Rae is your average teenager. Kinda short, short hair dyed a nice deep red. Loved once but it crashed down so she blocked off her emotions and haven't loved since. She wears a letter jacket and a lot of black but doesn't wear makeup. Rae doesn't give a shot about anything, or so people think. She has had a dark past and still struggles with a lot of things but doesn't let it show. She has no friends, she has people at school she talks to but they aren't real friends. They are just there but never when she needs someone. She gets in trouble and fights a lot. She can bee a class clown or also known as a 'classhole'. She says she straight, but is she really? This story is bout their relationship, as it grows, they learn about each other and help each other. Will this shy girl go for it? Will this badass fall for her and finally love again? There was something different about this coffee shop. I had been coming here for eight years and I just couldn't find myself ever losing interest in it. I just kept coming back.
