A new guest has arrived at the Horan house, and she comes all the way from America. The idea was to make it seem like she's an exchange student so they wouldn't question her visit. In reality, Emily lived a terribly upsetting life. She was bullied, witnessed her own mother commit suicide, and was abused by her father. The plan was for her to move to England with the Horans until the adoption center found a new family who also lives in England for her.
