The night sky darkened as the air got more cool. Harry moved towards the forbidden forest ignorant of the explosions taking place at his back . Hermione ran towards the entrance of the castle , tumbling partially on the ruins . They had just bid a bye.And here she was ,panting for breathe - trying to call harry and tell him about a massive explosion that took place in his absence.She wanted to tell him that the explosion has costed them the most important people of their lives. The explosion has swept away the weaselys .But something stopped her. No more pain , Harry Potter. She will let him go and wait for him . Even if that meant waiting for her own death. She crumbled into a ball seeking last glances of Harry's diminishing figure, her face full of mud and tears.

Thick raindrops hit her face, wetting her clothes, but she didn't feel it. Numbness was all she felt. She saw it happening, disbelieving. She saw how the light emerged from the tip of her wand and formed a mist around the sixteen year-old boy who stood a few steps from her. The dark trees around them made this night even darker than it already was. The sound of her yelling the spell still rang through the silence, but a shriek from the girl at her left side interrupted that echo.
