A hundred years after a disastrous war destroyed the entire world, only one city has survived under the iron fist of its leader, Russell Ward. His plan has always been simple: to remove anyone who threatens his power and exile them to the wasteland beyond the City walls. The only problem is his daughter, Violet.

After a suspicious murder leaves Russell Ward with unchecked power and the love of Violet’s life, Daniel, exiled to the wasteland beyond the walls, Violet has a decision to make: play the part she’s supposed to and forget about Daniel, or give up her home, her family and her entire life and find him against all odds.

And Violet has never been good at doing what she’s supposed to.

When her first foray into exile territory leaves her trapped in a basement with a wicked drifter named Moss who won’t stop calling her ‘Princess’, Violet knows there’s no turning back. She sets out across the wasteland, chasing Daniel’s phantom into a world built by violent gangs and mysterious wanderers. The only thing this rag-tag world of rejects has in common? Their lives were all destroyed by Violet’s father.

Catastropolis

7 parts Complete

Poor Josiah. Poor, filthy, illiterate Josiah Mench. Not even Liam, the closest thing he has to a friend, can stand to be near him. But for these two, friendship of any kind becomes a matter of survival when pandemic tears the world to pieces. Now, the survivors--children here and there, untouched by the plague--must hang together or die.  Catastropolis is a book of endings. When a single generation is lost, the structures of society fail--utterly, maybe forever. But there are beginnings too, visions of what life in a new future might hold for those willing to fight for it. It is here in this new, primitive age that Josiah finds his voice, and a new people find a prophet to lead them out of the wilderness. But it is also here that heaven and hell will contend for them first.
