In this fanfic Magnus and Alec are broken up and Magnus finds out that Madzie (His adopted daughter((In this story) Has died and he wants a chain that brings people back but The shadowhunters want to destroy it to keep people save.
Alec misses magnus and is trying speed dating as suggested by Izzy but misses Magnus and wants to get him back
The way they broke up is because Alec yelled at Magnus about how He will never love him (Alec) Much because after he dies Magnus will forget him and move on.
Magnus Misses Alec but is still steaming mad.
