The World Will End in Fire

Though the Tear has finally knitted itself back together after two years, otherworldly demons still walk the Earth.

The apocalypse ended two months ago, but that doesn't mean the remaining monsters have returned to the depths below. Despite the dangers, Nikko leaves his home, which houses monsters of its own, for the uncertain streets of a still-recovering world. After days of just barely surviving on his own, a stranger saves him from an invisible threat in the frigid rain and darkness.

Once Nikko's savior brings him to a small community of young survivors, he's pulled into a hellish world of fire surrounding intertwined souls, dying demons, a peculiar child, and a romance with a boy whose name he doesn't know.
