The protagonist was granted an ability to protect his step mother, and 2 step sisters against the undead monster that have invaded the world. Before this he was an illegal street fighter using his mutated genetics to fight for money and pay of there depts. Depths of despair from the fight he gets a vision of what would happen one year from know, and from this he gains a system that would help him.
