There was a time, where everything was normal. Unusual things never happened, so when they did, no one believed it. And as a result, a boy named Jeff suffered the consequences. I was naive enough to believe that everything was going to be okay. That everything was still completely normal, despite absolutely everything changing. 

Jeff was like an unpredictable tornado, whirling into my life with little regard that almost mimicked his little regard for life. He was an enigma; an anomaly stuck between the bridge of normalcy. An enigma that was hellbent on destroying the little left of life I had.

The question is, will I allow him to succeed?
