"Run! NOW!" I speed past Mia, grabbing her hand on my way, stumbling and pushing through the dense woods. Branches and vines scratch against our ankles and arms as we fly by them. "Kartia! We either use our resources or get caught. We need to make it past that line." Don yells as he appears to my right, pumping his arms, and running quickly to keep up. I pant heavily and yell to him, "I know! Just wait till my mark. Gray Vine is coming up. We just have to do this just right."
Kartia, Mia, and Adonai have been on the run for 5 years now. Harshly snatched away from a life and family they loved, because of who they are, life hasn't been easy. All of them gifted and connected through a link; they at least have a bond that has never been severed. But as fate would have it their lives begin to intertwine with something so much bigger.
Stephen Grey has been the Grey Vine's pack leader and alpha since he was crowned at 18. The hybrids have recently become an issue, and the wolf law has tightened down on their ever loosening control of them. I almost choke on the piece of chocolate covered strawberry as I saw Alpha Liam from the Crimson Fangs Pack come walking towards me with a smile. I start looking behind me to see if he's really looking at someone else but I notice it's just me standing here. Once he approaches me, he holds out his hand. "May I have this dance?" He asks in a deep husky voice. I stare at him in shock and then quickly snap out of the trance that his gorgeous green eyes has captured my attention. "Y-Yes." I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil!
