It's 1983 and in Northern Italy a 17 year old Italian boy named Frank Iero meets someone his father works with, that he soon falls in love with. 

Gerard Way is a 24 year old sassy and stuck up graduate student that comes by to help Frank's dad. As soon as Gerard seen Frank, he liked him. But, he thought since he's always so rude to him, he wouldn't want to talk to him.

They realize each other likes the other and they have a summer fling.

But nothing's ever built to last.

Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written. I wrote this when I was 13 and finished when I was like 15. Now I'm editing as much as I can to make it less embarrassing. Sequel "Never look up" both fanfics make me cringe tbh

Parents that act like their part of the fucking WBC... A flaming homosexual son... This is going to work out great. (The story will be better than the intro, I swear!!) Gerard's parents are religious, they value their beliefs above their sons. But Gerard doesn't believe in such things. Gerard was different than all the other people his age. He always had been. No one seemed to understand his strange ways, except for his brother, Mikey. Mikey was the only person Gerard gave a shit about, in fact, he truly loved his brother. Without his brother, Gerard would be alone. Oh yeah, did I mention Gerard was gay? When Gerard's parents found out, days later, there was one less member in the Way household. The night he was disowned, started as any ordinary day, and ended in silence. Gerard was kicked out of the home, with nothing but the clothes he was wearing, and whatever was in his pockets. As he stepped out the door, he took one final look at his brother. Mikey's facial expression was somewhat emotionless, but his eyes flooded with tears. That final fucking glance, it would haunt them forever... No one ever likes the student teachers, Frank included, but he always makes it a point to be nice to them. Frank is surprised when the student teacher walks in, he looks like someone he'd see walking down the hall, and he acts like a normal person- unlike all the others, who tried too hard to befriend the students, or to 'fit in'. Frank tries to make it easier on Gerard as he is clearly nervous about working in the high school, and they end up being good friends, but just how good of friends will they become? This description is awful, as is the title, but I suck with those, so I promise the book will be better! Haha

Written with 100% respect for the real people, 100% fiction with no intentions on hurting anyone! (This is one of those edits where I tell you that I wrote this story when I was 14, meaning it's a hot mess and I had 0 grammar and made most of it up as I went)
