After a horrible invasion undergoes on earth there is nearly no survivors to fight back as the extraterrestrial beings patrolled the cities and countrysides. All that remains of the human race among the streets or woods was clothing and gathered up bones from the bodies.
One of the few survivors Alura who is living alone and isolated for her own protection goes on another food hunt to be able to live another day like her parents, ex-boyfriend and little sister Bria would've wanted. Nothing would ever be the same ever again.This time though it was different, while sneaking around the streets one night Alura accidental gets involved in a cross fire with an alien. Expect this one isn't like the invaders harming earth, but that's impossible no one could fall in love with an alien. Especially after all the damage that happen could they?

The human Queen
April Davidson, never thought that she would become an orphan. Well no one does until it happens. But in a world where shifters, elves and mutants live in a fragile peace with the humans, nothing is ever guaranteed. Humans are a small minority in this strange world that once housed thousands of humans, until 'They' came. Ancient beasts that found portals into the Second Earth and recked havoc upon the human race. After awhile, 'They' realised that making sure that some humans survived would be a better idea, since humans had females. So intern in the future there was a chance of females being mates. After witnessing the death of her parents at the hands of her childhood friend, nothing will ever be the same again. She will find that nothing as it seems, she will find adventure, mates and becomes something that she never thought she would be.....a gift to her own race. And become the Queen of two worlds and in the process, bring peace to the world. (Some of the realms and time lines are not true to history and I am not trying it to be. Some of the characters may be related to history but this is only by coincidence).
Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

So Azura did what her instinct told her to. She, along with the guy from class and his best friend, picked up their detective glasses and stole the letters. But what she didn't expect was her brother to be involved in the case in more ways than imagined.
