Max Brooks is a 23 year old that's very uncertain about his life. He was thrown out of his parent's house for not getting a job, and has struggled with low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety for as long as he could remember. When his best friend Cam Sterling lets him stay with him at his apartment, he meets a wondrous boy named Jamey Green at a party one fateful night. They instantly click, and before Max knows it, him and Jamey are inseperable as their relationship with each other deepens. But when tragedy strikes for the star-crossed lovers, Max is left in a dark void of immense agony and alcoholism. Will Max be able to eventually overcome his demons, or will they lead him to his eternal downfall?
