The throne of Fire, the empire of Ignis is in crisis.
Five years after the royal family were massacred, the kingdom went into chaos. Civil wars were here and there as nobles killed each other for that seat of power.
With no rightful heir, the empire is on the verge of collapse and getting conquered by other nations.

Kenna has been on the journey to look for answers. Answers she needs to save her brother. The only family she has.
Until one day, after years of searching.. she found her answers but why this answer involves falling for the very kind of people that disgust her.
A prince, who is from the current ruling family of the Ignis empire. The second prince, also known as the holy prince Talliel Raven Hayes. Holy cause he will be the future high priest and the only person that can conjure a Refiner's fire, a fire that heals and removes curses, the holy fire.
But things got more complicated as her nightmares are catching up to her. The news of war spread like a wildfire, the other nations plans to conquer the fire throne.
How far can she run? from the feelings she feels for the prince? and from the inevitable truth that will befall to unfold?
