First-person story through OC, Post-Encanto journey where Bruno meets his destiny, NSFW soft smut ------------------ The war Alma and Pedro had escaped from raged on, burning everything in its wake and gifting those that had suffered at the soldiers hands their own miracles. It's been a decade since Luna saw Bruno through the connection of their gift and she's never stopped searching for the thread of magic that once pulled them together. But will they ever find the sanctuary of the Encanto and will Luna finally see him again... Snippet Bruno's POV: "Hey..", it was spoken so softly, "It's okay mi amor. I'm right here." She smiled a half smile with so much kindness in her eyes. Her wrists turning to grab mine. I hadn't realized I never let go of them. I was staring at her beautiful face, not able to speak. The corner of her lips turned up more and she reached her hand out, placing her palm to my face, brushing a strand of hair away and just holding it there. She was beautiful in a way I haven't seen before. Both wild and delicate, like a fire burning and dancing in the calmest of seas. Please let this be real. Please. "I'm here, mi corazón." she said as she kissed the back of my hand, the one holding ours by my heart. I don't know what to even say to her. If this is real, I must look pretty clueless. But I don't care. "I have to go now Brunito. This is all the time I could give you. I'm sorry. I'm so tired. Please wait for me, mi amor." she said it with so much sadness, tears falling down her cheeks. "Wait, please..", I called back as the light behind her seemed to swallow her, blinding me. She's out there. She has to be. She asked me to wait for her. I can find her. I will find her. ‐---------------- Cross posted on AO3 under @luna_de_encanto Art commissions by Kler Draws on Twitter + IG

"That was weird, but I can't stop my heart beating ten times faster than it should be. Laying down on the bed I face away from the bathroom door not wanting him to look at me. I pull the white cover up to my nose and look at the wall. I hear the bathroom door open and footsteps reach closer to the bed. The covers are being moved behind me as Mateo gets ready to sleep. I reach up to turn off the lap on my nightstand, and when I do we're left in the dark abyss of my room. Mateo's arm wraps itself around my waist and pulls me back into his hard chest. He gently lifts my head up and puts it back down onto his bicep. I take in a shaky breath and close my eyes deciding it is best to just sleep. Feeling his breath on the crown of my head, I'm more relaxed than I was before and start feeling sleepier by the second. But before sleep overtakes my mind. I hear Mateo mutter something. I'm excited for this one! As I'm watching her being laid to rest, it occurs to me that I know less about life than I do about death. She's gone, and I'm still here. If she wanted anything, she wanted me to live, but as long as I'm here, I'm not living. Life is fragile, or so I've heard. Ashes to ashes dust to dust. If I'm going to live at all starting over is a must. Some are gone, but some are still here. I need to get out of here to somewhere I can trust. I've got little too lose and much to gain. No matter what anyone thinks, I'm not to blame. So fuck it. What is the worst that could happen? I'm going to pack my bags and see what happens. It's completely worth taking my chances. ~ Anonymous ~
