Waking up is the least favorite part of the undead's day, but lucky for you, you have this book! Darren, Ed, Alixs, Channel, and Ashe had all been chosen to represent their district at the council meeting, little did they know this meeting would last longer than a week. An attack happens, sending them flying off the mountains, keeping them unconscious all the way down. Ashe is gone, but soon they find a person living in the heavy vegetation of the forest. What happens now? Do our representatives save their districts? Do they get fooled into their own demise? Or simply do they stay in the forest with Murial? Find out! Updates will come as soon as I can! All chapters are written in google docs therefore formatting is a little funny!

Book 1 of The Shadow Series. Myths, that's what the humans called it, but for Ashe it quickly became her reality. Her life changing transformation narrowed her paths down to two; She could either embrace her fates and save the people she's grown to love, or she can walk away and live a somewhat normal life while others suffer the consequences. How far is she willing to go to create peace where there's never been any? Will she even create peace? Or will she help encourage the most brutal war the Shadow Realms have ever experienced? Several years of Asheland's childhood had disappeared from her memory. She assumed it was her brain trying to protect her from a traumatic event, although that's true it's not exactly what she expected and her brain wasn't necessarily the cause. After being homeless until she was sixteen years old, then living in a boat dock for four years, she had finally found her home in a cottage in the near-by mountains of Wolf Creek. Everything seemed to be going well. However, as a list of secrets begin unraveling when Ashe gives in to her overwhelming urges to visit the island that terrified almost every citizen in Wolf Creek, her life becomes more complicated than she could've ever imagined. All of this just because she was turning twenty-one. Nothing was as it had ever seemed. * excerpt from the book * { "Why do you make such reckless, impulsive decisions?" The old man asked as we watched the moon. "The world could end tomorrow and everyone expects me to live in fear today? There's no life to live inside the box of fear, there's no freedom in there," I replied softly. }
