Kourtney Hart is an average fourteen year old girl, living in the southern parts of Chicago with her average everyday family. But, she knows something she shouldn't. No one wants the secret to come out, but Kourtney has revealed it all to herself, just the same as she had for the past month and a half. These people aren't her real family. She's a missing person. Her entire life is a commited crime that has yet to be solved. As a newborn, she was abducted from the hospital, her name was switched, her life turned into a lie. Fourteen years, down the drain, never to get back. Her real family, crushed, devastated, broken, at a loss for hope. Little does Kourtney & her birth parents know, they aren't far from one another. In fact, they both live in the same city, in the same five block radius. She knows where she belongs, who she belongs with. But all there is, is a simple name.
