Ethan is a 19-year-old boy who was recently admitted to a hospital due to a recent incident. He has recurrent dreams of a mysterious person that seems to be trying to tell him something. His best friend is a girl who struggles with her own internal issues. As the story goes on, more of Ethan's life outside is revealed and why he was admitted in the first place. He tries to work out everything with his new friend but finds himself constantly at odds with her and himself.
