From where she stood, she was normal.
 Completely and totally normal. Or maybe that is what she so desperately craved, what she wanted more than anything. Instead, billowing clouds of black clouded her mind, fighting to extinguish her own diminishing light. 
The orange that normally soothed her only settled to calm her nerves for a little while. The darkness never stayed away long, the silence ceasing at its' return.
