Thousands of years ago times were different. People were happy and non-greedy (most of them anyway), and pure of hearts began receiving gifts. The people that didn't receive gifts were angry and irrational. They locked them up and experiment on them.
Years later four teenagers were fooling around and having fun when they found themselves in an alleyway. Then they hear footsteps.
A person emerged from the shadows holding a gun, when they used their powers (?) to come out unharmed.
