Every year, many young teen girls enter to compete in the Miss Crystal Light Pageant-one of the biggest pageants in the area. There could be rivalries or everlasting friendships in the weeks leading up to the competition-the intense preparation and practice, and finally the big day.

But not everyone can walk away a winner.
