As he figures he has nothing to worry about during his summer of senior year, things take a slight turn for the worst. The mentioning of Belle, who mysteriously disappeared unveils a more depressed side of Damian. He finds himself uprooting old memories and feelings as he thinks about his old friend; who he believes is still out there.  However everyone around Damian believes the idea of Belle being alive is merely just a sad fantasy.
