Young Juliet Nightingale met her girlfriend online and found out they lived close enough to hang out on a regular basis. She was confident that she liked girls and that Maria Rodriguez was it for her.
Her junior year she gets a job in a family owned restaurant where she ends up meeting new friend and coworker Sebastian Park. She starts talking to him and they immediately hit it off.
