"There were times of hardship when people forget the courage they need to keep fighting; and survive. But I think as long as we have something or someone to believe in, to keep close in our hearts, courage will never truly leave us. We only have to reach deep in our heart to find it." Rise Of The Demons
The year is 3145. Angels and Demons have been at war for centuries. The year 2268 was officially deemed as the end of the world. No one quite knew how demons escaped from the depths of hell. Many of the higher ranking Angels were wiped out. The remaining angels are led by Archangels, and their job is to make the world right again and wipe out the Demon menace for good. I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. A small girl catches my attention one day during lunch and I can't seemed to get her off my mind. My new friends and others advise me to stay away from the brunette. I'm new to the school so I don't know much of anything but I can't figure out as to why someone so cute and petite could possibly be dangerous. Every time I ask, everyone's response is "She's not normal..." ---------- ATTENTION - If you're a grammar freak, I don't suggest reading this. Lauren's parents were murdered when she was just fifteen years old. At school she is the badass who stays by herself, till one day of her senior year when a new student walks through the doors of her high school, turning her whole world upside down. I never thought I could put together a whole Story. Back in 2016 my girlfriend used to write a book on her own, she was the reason I ever started writing anything so I'd like to thank her for that and even go as far as dedicating this book to her, even though we aren't a part of each other's life anymore. I started writing this book back in 2016 and since then I improved a lot. There was a time in 2017 - 2018 when I gave up on this book but in 2019 I finally decided to pick it back up and finish it off. Epilogue updated on June 29th, 2019. I know it's not the best book of all time but I'm proud of finishing it, even though the story and writing style doesn't match me as a person anymore.Concluida
