Skye seeks the truth along side her companion Phantom. She wishes to find the real reason the Collapse happened. However, they end up digging some horrible secrets from the past and present. 

Starting in the city, Afterooff, Skye starts to unravel the truth. However, King Marc seems to be more suspicious about her as time goes on. Unfortunately for him, his friends seem to be more concerned about their finances rather than the problem afoot. 

King of the World has switching Narratives throughout the series. This gives different perspective and opinion from each character.
